How Is Austin Kung Fu Working To Prevent The Spread Of COVID-19?

The COVID-19 pandemic has been hard on everyone, and small businesses are no exception. But Austin Kung Fu has successfully adapted, and is dedicated to maintaining a safe, fun environment. When the first lockdown hit in March 2020, we immediately switched over to an online Zoom class model– one of the only live, online martial arts programs out there. These online classes have allowed new and existing students to continue learning from the comfort of their own homes.

Now, in 2021, we are continuing our varied schedule of online classes, as well as adding some limited-capacity onsite options for those who want in-person learning. This comes with the grand re-opening of a NEW studio space for our 30th anniversary.

We have many safety measures in place for our on-site classes that you can read about below. But most importantly, Austin Kung Fu is determined to provide its students with plenty of options to fit your schedule and level of comfort. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.

Temperature Checks

Every student's temperature will be checked with a hands-free thermometer.

Socially Distant Studio

Our spacious studio is marked off to create 6 ft of distance between every student.

Masks Required

Masks are required at all times. If a student forgets their mask, we will provide one.

Sanitizing

Multiple hands-free sanitizing stations.

Online Classes

Our online Zoom classes will continue in full force for those who don't wish to attend in person.

Limited Class Sizes

We're using an online reservation system to ensure that our classes stay small, and so that everyone who wants to train gets an allotted spot.
